Attorney Bios
Steven C. Kiser
Steve Kiser has 40 years of experience as a transactional real estate attorney.
He began his career at a boutique firm in Los Angeles, representing clients
from the entertainment business, professional athletes and high net worth
individuals in real estate and business transactions and litigation. He
moved to Newport Beach in 1983 to serve as Vice President and General
Counsel for a multifamily housing investment and management company with
properties in the western United States. Mr. Kiser started a private law
practice in 1986, and has since then devoted himself to advising clients
in a wide spectrum of real estate related matters.
Mr. Kiser is a graduate of UCLA Law, where he was a member of Law Review
and focused elective coursework in real estate and business related subjects.
His undergraduate education was in business management, followed by an
MBA from the University of Maryland.
He has served his community as Chairman of the Newport Beach Planning Commission
and through participation in various community organizations. He is a
member of the Real Property Law and Business Law sections of the California
Lawyers Association.
Lauren E. McGilvray
Lauren McGilvray joined the firm in 2011, shortly after graduating from
Tulane Law School. She received her undergraduate education from Vanderbilt
University, where she graduated magna cum laude as an Economics major
and member of the Vanderbilt Honor Council. Mrs. McGilvray's practice
focuses on transactional real estate matters.
Mrs. McGilvray was born and raised in Newport Beach, California. She is
a member of the Real Property Law and Business Law sections of the California
Lawyers Association.
