Steven C. Kiser
Steve Kiser has over 40 years of experience as a transactional real estate
attorney. He began his career at a boutique firm in Los Angeles, representing
clients from the entertainment business, professional athletes and high
net worth individuals in real estate and business transactions and litigation.
He moved to Newport Beach in 1983 to serve as Vice President and General
Counsel for a multifamily housing investment and management company with
properties in the western United States. Mr. Kiser started a private law
practice in 1986, and has since then devoted himself to advising clients
in a wide spectrum of real estate related matters.
Mr. Kiser is a graduate of UCLA Law, where he was a member of Law Review
and focused elective coursework in real estate and business related subjects.
His undergraduate education was in business management, followed by an
MBA from the University of Maryland.
He has served his community as Chairman of the Newport Beach Planning Commission.
He firmly believes that the right of citizens to own and control property
provides the foundation for prosperity, and that government should act
in accordance with the will of its citizens to assure our national defense
and domestic tranquility, and should otherwise enact and consistently
enforce only such laws as are necessary to allow free enterprise to flourish.
He is licensed to practice law in California and Tennessee, and is a member
of the Real Property Law and Business Law sections of the California Lawyers
Association.
